Welcome to Poplars Farm Café, in Frampton Cotterell. An award-winning family-run farm café nestled in the picturesque South Gloucestershire countryside.
Just 19 minutes by car from Bristol city centre, we specialise in delicious homecooked food, made fresh to order using high-quality British produce. Owned by the Colwill family for over a century, Poplars Farm Café has evolved and adapted over the years and is now home to a farm café with takeaway, function area, farm shop, a number of outlets and fields.
About Us
At Poplars Farm Café, in Frampton Cotterell we know how to produce great quality food! We aim to use local products wherever possible and are committed to supporting the farming industry at all times.
Dog-friendly venue
A dog walker’s paradise, the covered veranda in our farm café is the perfect place to stop and enjoy coffee and a slice of one of our homemade cakes after a long walk in the countryside. There’s also plenty of seating inside our cafe, so you can visit whatever the weather. We have a children’s play area to entertain the little ones and you can also take a look at our herd of Gloucester Old Spot pigs, who live on the farm!
Outside catering available
We offer an outside catering service and can deliver directly to your home or place of work. With traditional meals, family favourites and special dishes available, we can whip up delicious, crowd-pleasing fayre using the best local ingredients. Whether you’re hosting a business lunch or a private party, we can freshly prepare an array of fantastic food in our farmhouse kitchen and present it on platters, ready for you to serve at your event.
Host your own event
On-site at Poplars Farm Café, Frampton Cotterell we have a spacious, all-purpose function room with a licensed bar and free Wi-Fi that’s perfect to book as a meeting room or for private hire for events such as birthday parties, baby showers and engagement parties. In addition, we also have a fantastic outside space that’s large enough to accommodate marquees – a great idea for a rustic wedding or special occasion!
