Following a fantastic response from local businesses, we're excited to launch the first phase of Poplars Digital Screen Advertising.
Our large digital screen is prominently positioned on The Deck at Poplars and runs throughout our daytime opening hours, giving local businesses an affordable way to put their brand in front of the thousands of customers who visit Poplars.
The screen operates approximately 9am–4pm, Tuesday to Sunday, with Poplars events, promotions and local business advertising displayed on a continuous digital rotation.
Advertising may also be shown during selected evening events and planned networking events, giving participating businesses additional opportunities to be seen. Evening and event advertising is an added benefit where available and is not guaranteed as part of your package.
How often could your business appear?
Our advertising and Poplars promotional content runs on a continuous digital loop throughout the day.
Each screen will typically remain visible for approximately 10–20 seconds, giving customers time to see and absorb the content.
Depending on the number of businesses advertising and the amount of Poplars promotional content being displayed, we expect the complete rotation to generally run between approximately 2 and 4 minutes.
Based on our normal daytime opening hours, an advert appearing once within each rotation could potentially be displayed approximately:
105–210 times per day
630–1,260 times per week
That means potentially thousands of screen plays every month, with additional exposure possible during selected evening and networking events.
These figures are provided as a general guide only and are subject to change. Actual screen duration, rotation length and frequency will vary depending on advertising volume, Poplars promotional content, opening hours, events and operational requirements. Screen plays refer to the number of times content may be displayed and do not represent guaranteed individual customer views or impressions.

An affordable way to get your business seen by the Poplars audience.
Your business will appear within our Supporting Local display alongside up to 5 other local businesses.
The Supporting Local businesses occupy approximately half of the screen, while a Poplars event or promotion is displayed alongside.

Give your business greater prominence with a much larger advertising presence.
Your business receives approximately half of the entire screen, displayed alongside a Poplars event or promotion.
You'll need to supply high-resolution finished artwork suitable for digital screen display. We recommend keeping your message simple, bold and easy to read from a distance.

Our highest-impact digital advertising option.
During your advertising slot, your business takes over the entire screen, giving your brand, promotion or message maximum visibility.
You'll need to supply high-resolution finished landscape artwork suitable for digital screen display.

When Will My Advertising Start?
To keep our advertising organised and ensure every advertiser's content is properly prepared before going live, new advertisers are added to the screen USUALLY WITHIN 7 DAYS of receiving the order and all information/artwork has been received.
Initially your advertising will then run for three consecutive calendar months.
For example, advertising beginning on 1 October will run:
1 October – 31 December
What Happens After I Book?
Once you've booked and paid for your advertising package, we need to add your business to our advertising screen, so please email your business details and any artwork in high res to our email:
Depending on your chosen package, we'll need you to provide your business information, high-resolution logo and/or finished high-resolution advertising artwork.
Please check your spam or junk folder for our emails to you in response.
Emails from our Events address can occasionally find their way into spam or junk folders, so please keep an eye out for any messages after booking.
Want to Continue Advertising?
If you'd like to continue after your initial three months, you'll have the opportunity to book a further three-month advertising period.
To continue without a break, you'll need to renew by the 20th of the final month of your current booking.
For example:
Advertising period: 1 October – 31 December
Renew by: 20 December
We cannot guarantee your existing advertising space if you don't renew before the cut-off date.
You can chose to renew for one month or two months with the third month free.
Spaces Are Limited
We want our advertising to remain effective and provide participating businesses with regular exposure.
For this reason, the number of businesses we accept will be limited.
Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and once a particular package reaches capacity, bookings for that option may close until further space becomes available.
More Than Just Daytime Advertising
Your three-month package is primarily for advertising during our normal daytime screen rotation. However, Poplars also hosts a growing calendar of live music, parties, workshops, wellbeing sessions, private functions and other events, as well as our planned local business networking events.
Where appropriate, our business advertising rotation may continue to run during selected events, giving participating businesses additional exposure at no extra charge.
Please note that evening and event advertising is not guaranteed and will depend on how the screen is being used for each individual event.
Supporting Local Businesses
This is the first phase of Poplars Local Business Advertising.
Our aim is to use the audience and community we've built at Poplars to provide other local businesses with an affordable way to increase their visibility and get their business seen locally.
As the concept develops, we're also exploring further opportunities which could include networking events, outdoor advertising, newsletters and other promotional opportunities.
These will be separate opportunities and are not included within your current screen advertising package unless specifically stated.

Advertising with Poplars does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, accreditation, guarantee or verification of any business, product or service advertised.
Advertising is non-exclusive. We may accept advertising from multiple businesses operating within the same industry or sector and cannot guarantee category or industry exclusivity.
We cannot guarantee that advertising will result in enquiries, leads, sales or any other commercial outcome.
Screen frequency, screen duration, rotation length and operating times may vary.
Our advertising packages, prices and opportunities may also be reviewed or changed in the future. Any advertising already purchased will be honoured for its agreed booking period in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
